Q. I am an incoming P.A student who starts this fall at USciences. I wanted to ask you what my options would be in checking out novels, self-help, motivational books while I am in school? Does the school library carry this?

Welcome to Usciences! We do have books in library collection that go beyond academic books. We have a leisure reading collection on our first floor which has new and popular fiction, recent biographies, and graphic novels. Next to the leisure books, we have a small career collection. We also have books in the library’s main collection on a variety of topics beyond academics including cookbooks, self-help books, fiction, and more. You are welcome to come to the library and browse our shelves, or speak with a librarian who can assist you in your search. Lastly, there are numerous ebooks in the library collection that you can find by searching Primo on the library’s main page: https://library.usciences.edu/

Here are a few guides to some of the collections we have in the library:

Good luck!
