Q. I am trying to log into My NCBI for PubMed via my Gmail account while I am off campus, but I get an error page (says 404 error).

I am able to log onto Pub Med's My NCBI from on campus computers, via my Google account (Gmail). However, when I try to sign into My NCBI from my off-campus location, I get an error page. The error says "404 not found."



This error is somewhere between Google and NCBI.  I suggest trying a different browser.  If you are using Internet Explorer or Safari, try using Firefox.  If the error persists, I recommend that you e-mail My NCBI's help.  The link is near the bottom of the My NCBI log in page.

  1. Thank you for the reply. I did try a different browser (both Firefox and Google Chrome) and both gave the same error page. I have sent a message to the NCBI help desk.
