Q

How can I reset my password to ILLiad?

I am trying to log in and it is not the password I thought I set is wrong, so I wanted to reset it so I could order articles.

Answer

Hi Kara,

Did you have an ILLiad account which you setup before this summer? If so, see the following; you may not need to change your password because we actually changed the ILLiad login:

The library has changed your login method for ILLiad. As of July 2011, all ILLiad users will now be directed to use their USciences network account login (the same used for email, Angel, Webadvisor, etc). If you are already an ILLiad user, you’ll find that you meet one of the following two conditions:

  1. If your ILLiad username matches your USciences network account username, continue to login with that username. You simply need to begin using your USciences password.
  2. If your old ILLiad username does NOT match your USciences network account username, you will be directed to fill out a new ILLiad registration form. This will occur after you first log in to ILLiad with your USciences network account username and password. (Filling out the new registration form will only take a minute; you will be able to access your previous requests after the next business day.)

If you still need to reset your password, see this page: http://www.usp.edu/it/pwdrecovsrv.aspx
