How do I cite an organization's white paper or position paper in APA style?

Answer

Create the reference following the rules for Technical and Research Reports (section 7.03) of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th ed. Don't skip its introduction! It lays out the basic rules. If individual people are named as the authors of the paper, see example 33. If individual people are not named as authors, then use the organization as the author following example 34. For in-text citations of an organization as author, see section 6.13, Groups as Authors.
