The renovation to the library looks really great. I was wondering if there would more tables and chairs put on the first floor... replace those that were taken away?

Thanks for your question.

At this time there is no plan to replace this furniture. The architects that designed the renovations suggested that a less congested area would improve the available space, and this plan guided the renovations.

  1. Charles Myers said that the architect believed "a less congested area would improve the available space." My question to you is, if this plan was to improve the space aesthetically then it is a job well done, if it was to improve the efficiency then this is not ok. Students constantly complain about study space but now there is less available before. the people that are lucky enough to get a table will be able to study in a beautiful area though. Thank you and please bring the tables back, i promise you the area would still look nice.
