I have not been able to use my PW to get into PubMed. I just recieved my PW so I do not want to change it

Hello-

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. Please answer these questions to help troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Are you accessing PubMed from off campus?
  2. Are you accessing PubMed via a PubMed link that appears on the library's website, or are you accessing PubMed from a regular link?
  3. Are you referring to your USciences username and PW, or a myNCBI password that you setup to save searches/preferences inside of PubMed?

You should always access PubMed via a link that appears on our website. If you are off campus, you should be prompted to enter your USciences username and PW before you can proceed into PubMed. The window where you enter this info looks like this:
