I can't login to E-ZBorrow.

I'm getting this error when I try to login: "Authorization failed."

Unable to login? Getting the "Authorization failed." message? The "Patron ID" login varies depending on when your ID card was issued.

  • Older cards include a 12-14-digit "Lib:" number. If you have a "Lib:" number, enter it in the "Patron Id" field to login.
  • If your card does not have a "Lib:" number, enter your 7-digit ID number in the "Patron Id" field to login. NOTE: You must enter 7 digits to login; If there are less than 7 digits printed on the ID, just put additional zeroes before your ID number so it becomes a 7-digit number. For example, if the ID number on your card is 654321, enter 0654321. If the ID number is 54321, enter 0054321.

Recently received a replacement ID card?
If you received a replacement ID it is likely you no longer have your "Lib:" number on hand. Please contact us via Ask a Librarian and we can provide it for your use until your login is updated to your 7-digit ID number.

Still having trouble?
Please contact us via Ask a Librarian to report the issue. Please include your name and details about your ID such as the "Lib:" number (if present) and the ID number (let us know exactly how it appears on the card). Also, tell us the year you started at the University.
