How do I look up dissertations on Proquest?

Answer

Use the ProQuest link from the Quick Links menu on the library's homepage, http://www.usciences.edu/library/.  At the top of the ProQuest homepage, it will say, "You are searching 1 database (see list|change)."  Click on Change.  On the next page, uncheck the box in front of ProQuest Research Library, and check the box in front of the dissertation database you want to search, either the USciences dissertations or the complete ProQuest collection.  Then click on the "Use selected databases" button on the bottom of the page.  We have access only to the full-text of USciences' own dissertations.
