Q

I would like to know if there are any books related to Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimetry.

If not, is there a possibility that the library could arrange for it?

Answer

Hi Sowmya,

Thank you for your question.

The library just implemented a new search interface, Primo. You can access it by using the main search box on the library's home page (library.usciences.edu) or by going directly to library.usciences.edu/search To log in, please use your USciences credentials. (same as Blackboard)

To start, I'd recommending doing a basic search for Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimetry. The search results encompass all of the library's holdings. If you are looking specifically for a book, then you can use the facets on the right side of the page to narrow down your search. In my search, I am showing that we have access to approximately 36 book or book chapters that contain some information about Modulated Differential Scanning Caolirmetry. All of these texts are available online, and you shouldn't have any problem accessing them on campus or off campus. This book may be a good start, but you will have to look more closely at the search results to determine which fits your needs.

To refine your search, try putting quotation marks around "Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimetry" so that your results will be limited to resources that have that exact phrase included in the full text. When I limit that search to only books, only 6 book chapters come up.

If you have a specific book in mind that we do not have access to, then you can request that book via interlibrary loan. You can click on the E-ZBorrow (Request a Book) link on the library's homepage for further instruction.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Always happy to help!

Best,
