Q

ILLIAD Request cancelled by ILLIAD staff

I requested an article from The Lancet Journal. and while a similar article request was fulfilled this one was cancelled. I was wondering why it would be cancelled by the ILLIAD staff?

Answer

Between print holdings and our online subscriptions we have access to The Lancet back to 1967.  If your request was for an article published after 1966 our staff would reject the request because you can obtain the article through our own resources.  Illiad is a service that lets us obtain other articles from partner libraries.  If the article you want is from before 1967 or you find that it is missing from our collection and subscriptions, please follow up with a response to this answer.
