Which data base provides photographic illustration of medications? Thanks.

That can be cut and pasted into patient education materials.

Answer

It depends on where those images are being pasted. Unless the images are being collected by students and used to complete projects (ie, used to illustrate a patient-education brochure that will be turned in for course credit), we would not recommned that images be taken from any database. And when used for assignments, students should be advised to always give source credit.

Those collecting images for other purposes should seek approval from the drug manufacturer.
